Weingut Braunewell
Typical Braunewell Pinot Noir. Fruity aromas: berry, blackberry and black currant. Slightly plum, spicy (including pepper) and smoky. Soft tannins, fruity and beautiful lime mineral. Very clean. 18 months in barrique. Not filtered. Delicious with chanterelles and poultry (chicken, quail).
The Weingut is now led by father Axl Braunewell and His sons Stefan and Christian (both graduated in Geisenheim). They have made a huge quality leap over the past few years which we are not unnoticed to. Benefitting the fantastic’terroir’of Selzthal with it’s calcareous soil with marl.
