The Coral Wine Croatia project has now been running for 10 years and produces approximately 30,000 bottles per year. It is the first and only underwater wine cellar that allows wine from various EU countries to age. The constant temperature, water pressure, and lack of oxygen influence the aromas and structure of the wine. The aging process in the sea accelerates the wine's maturation. In particular, the tannins soften, and the wine develops round, complex aromas with a long-lasting finish. This wine has been aged for 2 years in oak and 12 months in the sea at a depth of 20 meters.
